摘要
The purpose of this paper is to explore the sustainable route of China's new energy vehicles with sustainable business model. It is based upon a case study of the new energy vehicles leader: BYD. In order to compare the different periods of business model of the example, business model canvas and triple layered business model canvas are proposed. Through the use of case studies drawn from real-world situations, BYD improve its technology to capture the market, innovate its business model to break the bottleneck. Other companies should learn from the merits of BYD's new energy vehicles development. The originality of the paper is that we compare the Business model canvas and Triple layered business model canvas and present a sustainable business approach, triple layered business model canvas, for new energy vehicle firms.
