Analytical estimates of the parameters of a high-power amplitron

摘要
A modification of an amplitron with significantly increased (compared to the devices with a conventional cylindrical design) cathode area is proposed. Approximate analytical estimates of its parameters are given. These estimates reveal probable advantages of the proposed model.
