摘要
Soar air heating uses sunlight thermal energy to heat air. It is commonly used for heating air in buildings and industrial processes. This technology is the most cost-effective and efficient among all solar thermal solutions. Solar air heat technology can help minimize the carbon footprint of traditional heat sources by supplying electrical energy to a variety of applications. These include greenhouse season extension and space heating. It has an insulating rear plate, an absorbing plate, and a transparent cover that covers the exposed side. It is easy to set up and use. However, it is low-maintenance and inefficient. The low efficiency of a SAH is mainly due to the formation of a layer of laminar sub-layer. This contributes to the overall thermal losses and lowers the efficiency. The concept of the passive method of efficiency improvement involves the use of fins or ribs on the surface to break this layer. A promising solution to this issue is presented in this paper. This article aims to introduce the literature on the various aspects of the modifications of enhanced SAH. Various configurations of the ribs are presented in this paper.Copyright (c) 2022 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
