摘要
Teacher training is essential for teaching-learning processes to be effective in different educational levels. This article presents an experience framed in the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) related to gender equality in primary school teachers in Nicaragua. A proposal of activities that enhances gender equality in a course is presented. The objective of this proposal is to provide teachers with content related to coeducation and gender so that in addition to incorporating them into their training, they can transmit them to students and thus alleviate the deficiencies that teachers and students have on these issues. At the end of the teaching-learning process, an anonymous survey was prepared to know teachers' opinion about their gender training and their ability to teach aspects related to Education with a Gender Perspective (EPG) before and after attending the course. The results of the survey allow us to know the main aspects related to gender that teachers learn during the course and their limited training on the SDGs and the EPG, which justifies the need to carry out training experiences such as the one presented in this article.
