摘要
Based on the importance of urban soil and water conservation, this paper mainly introduces the application of visualization technology applied in investigating Haidian Region Beijing. During this course, the methods we used are as follows: first by measuring and investigating the whole area (15.6 km(2)), we obtained statistics needed, and then by analyzing the aerial photographs (taken in 1999) of part of the region (about 8km(2)) and utilizing VirtruoZo NT, IMAGIS, CyberCity etc, we measured and estimated the condition of soil and water loss in this region, and formed 3D simulated-maps. According to the statistics got in our incomplete investigation, there are as many as 47 large-scale real-estate developments, causing 211.4067 ha constructive area, about 163.0745ha land bare, and 6 road-constructed projects, altogether 8675m long with another 4,2239ha land bare. On the whole, the bare land caused by development and construction is 211,4067ha, which accounts for 12.28% of the whole investigated area. The results show the features of the soil and water loss in Haidian Region: the loss caused by human activities is very conspicuous; solid waste produced by production affects more conspicuously; real-estate developing in this region is the main cause for the loss.
