摘要
Taking into account, as soon as possible in the product design process, the specific manufacturing constraints is a major stake in the current economical context. In the particular field of the forging part design, our recent developments show the necessity of knowing the way the material flows during the process. We propose in this paper the valuation of a simplified temperature distribution in the workpiece, along with the temperature evolution during the process. The achievement of these goals in ForgeRond, without dramatically increasing computation times, involves the use of simple models that describe the workpiece behaviour in its environment.
