摘要
In recent years, Harmony Search Algorithm have gained a lot of attention from the optimization research community. In this paper, harmony search algorithm is presented to optimize the component sizing of a parallel plug-in hybrid electric vehicle. In this study, the objective function is defined so as to minimize the drivetrain cost. In addition, the driving petformance requirements are considered as constraints. Finally, the optimization process is performed over two types of batteries and three different All Electric Range (AER). The results show that the proposed optimization approach can be considered a viable alternative to solve design and manufacturing optimization problems.
