摘要：
This article gives an overview of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), in which NTT and NTT DoCoMo participate, which has set technical standards for the Web, such as HTML and XML, which have received much attention recently. It introduces the benefits of membership, which is open to any organization, and the standardization process.
