摘要:
Herein a radical hydroxyalkylation of N-heteroaromatics with aldehydes is reported. The constructive merging of photochemistry and electrochemistry is the key for the success of this atom-economical Minisci method. This protocol highlights the utility of electrophotocatalysis to promote a practical and general synthesis of secondary alcohols in good yields from readily available N-heteroaromatics and aldehydes under mild reaction condition.
