摘要
In this paper, it is found that process design and knowledge management are necessary for software product through analyzing the complexity in software and software process in the first. Then, the Sigma-N concept by J.N.Warfield is clarified and applied to integrate the six principles of software process improvement by Watts S. Humphrey. The results can explain the experiences from the survey of SEI.
