摘要
The precessing jets of SS433 are modeled with a time dependent 3-dimensional hydro code. As they are the observationally by far best studied astrophysical jets and all their relevant physical parameters are known with high accuracy, they present an ideal laboratory to confront numerical jet simulations with reality. Although our simulations have not yet reached the evolutionary age of the 'real' jets, most of the unexpected recent observational results can be explained quite naturally.
