A Power Allocation Scheme Using Non-Cooperative Game Theory in Ultra-Dense Networks

摘要
In order to meet the demand of ultra-high-flow communication after 2020, ultra-dense networks (UDN) is considered to become a key technology of 5G. By deploying a large number of access points (AP) in UDN, the networks can achieve extremely high frequency reuse which makes the system capacity in hot spots (offices, subways, etc.) increase hundreds of times. In this paper, we propose a downlink optimal power allocation scheme for UDN networks based on virtual cell (VC) local information. By applying graph theory knowledge, the analysis of interference in system is simplified. We investigate noncooperative game problems with penalty. In addition, we propose a distributed optimal power control algorithm accordingly. The final simulation results show that the new algorithm has a certain improvement compared with the average power allocation algorithm.
