摘要
Clamping units for injection moulding machines are available in many different designs. The advantage of the C-frame design is the better accessibility to the mould. The functional principle of the HydroBalance type is comparable to a parallel screw clamp the structure of which includes two spindles instead of one with the standard clamp. The spindle close to the work-piece acts as traction spindle, the other exerts a force of pressure. From adequate torques at both spindles, a clamping force is ensuing. This mode of operation is exactly realized with the HydroBalance clamping unit. In this case the spindles were replaced by hydraulic cylinders respectively plungers. The accessibility from three sides and the additional limited accessibility from the fourth side allows this system to be used in vertical injection moulding machines with manual insert fee-ding. Bulky inserts or even profile joints can be fed to the mould without almost any restriction.
