摘要
One of the most important issues for facility environmental programs, now and in the future, is selecting the computer information management system to handle the perpetually increasing data management requirements. As new regulations place increased demands on existing environmental staff, methods must be identified to develop more efficient use of existing resources. Jefferson Smurfit Corporation Fernandina Beach Mill required a new Data Acquisition System (DAS) to replace our existing system supporting our Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS). The CEM system measures pollutant emission concentrations and control equipment for permitted air point sources. A DAS was chosen that would meet our requirements and operate on a dedicated server over an existing mill Local Area Network (LAN). The DAS selected offers operator-friendly interface, predictive alarms, and permit compliance analysis. The selected system not only captures air emission monitoring data, but also provides a continuous watchful eye over surrogate parameters, instrument preventive maintenance & calibration records, and lab analysis data.
