摘要：

One of the few possibilities of primary abnormal development prophylaxis is a periconceptional folic acid intake. The authors report on the present state of folic acid intake by pregnant women and its influence on the prevalence of neural tube defects and orofacial clefts (uroanoschisis, cheilognatho-uranoschisis) on the basis of the analyzed data of the Magdeburg register of anomalies.
