摘要
The discovery that many - or most - interacting galaxies host a population of young star clusters which formed as part of the merging process is only about a decade old. But these star clusters are being studied, individually or as populations, with ever increasing interest. In this review article I will describe some of the reasons for this growing interest and summarize some: of the recent findings.
