摘要
Register as agronomic characteristics and yield of five maize cultivars for silage production. The experiment was carried out in a randomized block design with five treatments and four replications, the treatments being composed of five maize cultivars (KWS K9606 VIP 3; SHS 7930 PRO 2; NIDERA 50 PRO 2; LG 3040 VIP 3 and AG 8088 PRO). Plant height and ear insertion height obtained from the ground were measured using a graduated ruler and column diameter was found using a digital caliper. For the production of green matter, 15 existing plants were weighed in the useful area (12 m2), and subsequently estimated production for one hectare. The results were found through the analysis of variance using the F test and the means were compared using the Tukey test at 5% probability using the SISVAR statistical program. A cultivar SHS 7930 PRO 2 presented greater plant height (2.7 m), insertion height (1.13 m) and stem diameter (20.12 mm). The cultivars KWS K9606 VIP3, NIDERA 50 PRO 2, LG 3040 VIP 3 and AG 8088 PRO are far apart for green matter production with results greater than 49 tons per hectare of green matter, being examined for good production with emphasis on AG 8088 PRO with 55.50 tons of green matter per hectare.
