摘要
We propose a design for a hollow core photonic bandgap fiber (HC-PBF), with a quasi-elliptical core region stacked by modified periodic capillary tubes. This type of HC-PBF possesses birefringence >4.6x10(-4) in the wavelength range of 1.46-1.59 mu m, and a low confinement loss of <0.02 dB/m, while maintaining single-mode operation.
