Mapping QoS parameters for multimedia services using ATM MIB objects

摘要
In this work, we first introduce the multimedia QoS parameters. We then construct the multimedia QoS service and management architecture composed of the service and management components for the end-to-end management of the QoS parameters. Component interactions between the service and management planes across the management layers are developed for service access and negotiation phase. The QoS parameters are mapped onto the layers and components of the architecture and onto the different management domains. At the end, we demonstrate the mapping of the QoS parameters by using ATM SNMPv2 MIB objects.
