摘要
Thick composite disks are utilized in fast-rotating machines, including turbine disks and flywheels. Dynamic equations of motion for a rotating composite disk have been formulated in a polar coordinate system using Hamilton's principle, and numerical analysis has been performed by finite element interpolation. The natural frequencies of isotropic and laminated composite disks have been obtained when the rotational speed changes. The effects of transverse shear and rotary inertia on the vibration characteristics of rotating disks have also been investigated.
