摘要
This paper gives a detailed introduction of a new parameter estimation approach of Bass model, Ant Colony Optimization (ACO). With the development and integration of internet technology in China, this paper illustrates the diffusion tendency using the application of Bass model, and fairly satisfying results have been achieved. The estimation of parameters for a model is one of the most important factors for the accurate forecasting of a model. This paper summarizes the current achievements, and adopts the ACO as the parameter estimation approach of Bass model. Through scientific analysis and simulations, a conclusion is drawn that ACO is a much better parameter estimation approach for Bass model.
