摘要
The development of optical sensor technology as a subfield of photonics is still reserved for universities and industrial research institutes due to the costs and regulations involved. Implementing the research results in vertical system integration is often too costly. Therefore the Optocubes framework is in development to provide users without a deep background in computer science with the means for agile prototyping with optical sensor technology. This paper is dedicated to the challenge of implementing a software system based on the Optocubes framework that improves usability, security and automation. Furthermore, the addition of IoT capabilities to older IEEE 488 GPIB controlled devices can be seen as valuable in physics and improves upon the current support of USB devices. The system was finally tested in field studies, particularly by implementing a Czerny-Turner-imaging spectrometer with this system in the Optocubes framework.
