THE ROLE OF COMMUNITY CULTURE INSTITUTIONS IN MUNICIPAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROCESSES

The point of my study is the exposition of the professional roles of the cultural community and the social activity engagement of the local citizens in Hungary. With the special means of cultural institutions, the Hungarian government give continuous professional and methodological assistance to the cultural institutes and the civil organizations of settlements in order to foster the social cohesion and community development. Several resources for these scopes of duties have been available between 2014 and 2020 favoured by development assistance of European Union. The Territorial and Settlement Development Operative Programme aims to support regional, decentralised economic development and an increase in employment based on local resources. The Human Resources Development Operational Programme enables the main interventions to cover social inclusion, strengthening social cohesion and the role of the family, health promotion and prevention, improving the quality of public education, increasing the number of people who have tertiary education and strengthening the staff of social institutions. The Acting Communities Active Community Involvement are supposed to give assistance to the most useful appropriation of several resources, and to increase the social activity and community engagement of the local citizens, furthermore to improve the cooperation of the local governments, cultural institutions with the civil population of the countryside.
