摘要：
The postcentral sulcus has two fissurization patterns: (I) the sulcus extends continuously into the sylvian fissure; (II) the sulcus is interrupted in its trajectory. In the left but not in the right hemisphere, there was a sex difference in the distribution of these fissural patterns, type I being more frequent in men and type II being more frequent in women. No hemispheric asymmetry was found for these patterns in either sex. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
