摘要
Polymerisation conditions have a remarkable effect on the various material properties of polypyrrole. Care has to be taken to ensure identical conditions for electrochemical experiments when films electropolymerised differently are examined in comparison. The effect of a variety of experimental parameters on redox capacity, conductivity and electrooptic behaviour has been examined. Based on experimental evidence presented here and reported elsewhere explanations are proposed. A choice of optimum conditions suitable for obtaining a tailored polymer can be derived.
