摘要：
Despite the lack of archaeological evidence about archaic domestic a thematic, linguistic and pragmatic analysis confirms Athenaeus' idea that the context of Alc. fr. 1.4o V. is a part of a 'private' building: the hypothesis that its context is a temple or a heroon has to be rejected.
