Efficiency of Blended Learning in Teaching Mathematics at Primary School

摘要
Blended learning represents a combination of traditional classroom instruction and online learning. The paper analyses the results of the research focused on the efficiency of blended learning in teaching mathematics at primary schools in Slovakia. The authors find answers to the questions whether blended learning can increase the level of knowledge of students and whether it can positively change their attitudes towards mathematics. Although the research was made on a little sample of students and further research is needed, the results revealed that a blended learning model represents an efficient alternative to a traditional way of teaching mathematics.
