摘要：
This study aims to develop and evaluate the psychometric properties of the Portuguese version of the Cancer Coping Questionnaire (CCQ). The convenience sample included 189 breast cancer patients, who fulfill the following measures, beyond CCQ: Courtauld Emotional Control Scale (CEC); Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) and the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire and the Supplementary Questionnaire Breast Cancer Module (EORTC QLQ-C30 e BR-23). The procedure enclose: translation; back translation; discussion group for inspection of lexical equivalence and content validity; application to a target population, followed by a second fulfill. The validation of the Portuguese CCQ has good psychometric proprieties of internal consistency and test-retest reliability.
