摘要
this paper discusses the recent scenario of the wind energy and the growing opportunities in establishing a new renewable industry in India. A review of the plan and past research reveals that the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has already started building a developing scenario for the nation's renewable energy. It has announced an ambitious plan to install 60 GW of the wind by 2022. Moreover, India has adequate wind speed which set a good chance for expansion of wind energy generation. This paper presents the major constraints in a rational and incorporated way for the development of wind energy in India. An effort has been made to summarize the availability, current scenario, strategies, perspective and promotion of wind energy sources. In addition, major achievements and future potential of renewable energy have also been described.
