Polarity controlled blue-green organic electroluminescent devices with PHP and GaQ(3)

摘要
Blue-green organic electroluminescence (EL) devices utilizing parahexaphenyl (PHP) and Ga-tris-(8-hydroxyquinoline) (Gaq(3)) have been fabricated. By changing the polarity of the driving voltage the emission colour is switched between blue and green. The thickness of PHP and Gaq(3) layers controls the emission through a range of 400 to 600 mn. Furthermore we present the parameters of the device performance and the comparison of the optoelectronic properties of single and multilayer devices and discuss the mechanism of the colour switching in these multicolour light emitting devices.
