Software creation: An intelligent case tool for reusing design knowledge acquired automatically

摘要
This paper reports on an Intelligent CASE tool, which designs programs by reusing design knowledge acquired automatically. The main idea is that human designers use a CASE tool for an initial design of a software system, and the designer's design knowledge is automatically acquired from the documents thus prepared. By reusing thus acquired design knowledge, a similar software system may be designed. A quantitative evaluation is made on this system, the Learning Effect is shown, and the software productivity has been calculated. By accumulating design experiences (e.g. 10 times), more than 80% of the design by detailing are performed automatically.
