摘要
As anchor cables are critical components for the cable support bridges such as cable-stayed bridges, suspension bridges and string arch bridges, the development of the sensor suitable for measuring perennially cable force becomes an important task in bridge construction and maintenance. In this paper, we developed a new type load cell based on FBG sensor for cable force measurement of arch bridge chronically. This kind of load cell developed in the laboratory was applied practically to the Safety Monitoring System for Wuhan Qingchuan Bridge(SMSWQB) for the first time in China.
