摘要
The population of thermostatically controlled loads can be used to solve power balance control tasks in electrical grids. Nowadays, effective use of resources and improvement of electricity production is a very important issue, thus, research studying the use of smart grid features are topical. The first paper part deals with simulation of the population of thermostatically controlled loads. The proposed method is quite convenient and effective. It allows us working with a large group of electrical heaters. The second part of the paper contains an example of the task which can be worked out. The obtained results show that the task can be solved relatively well even using some simple controller structure such as the PID-controller.
