摘要
Seismic and tectonic processes were analyzed, taking into account the dimensions of tectonic structures and geological factors that determine the features of the relationship between tectonic units of different ranks. The data made it possible to model the development of a seismic process to predict seismic activity. Modern tectonic movements reflect the fold-and-block nature of the structure of the lithosphere. Following the Stokes equations, the crustal stress state in the Western Tien Shan is numerically modeled, taking into account active faults of different ranks. Grouping the direction of displacement velocities by a numerical modeling made it possible to divide the territory of the Western Tien Shan into separate blocks, the boundaries of which coincide with the existing faults of a higher rank. The numerical results are verified with geodetic and GPS data. The high stress zones in the Western Tien Shan are correlated with macroseismic data.
