Metapanax, a new genus of Araliaceae from China and Vietnam

摘要：
Metapanax was previously proposed informally without Latin description as a new genus of the Araliaceae, for two species: M. davidii and M. delavayi. Current morphological and molecular studies support the recognition of Metapanax. The genus is now formally described and a synopsis is provided. Morphological distinctions between Metapanax and related genera are discussed.
