摘要
In inductive power transfer (IPT) systems, highspeed switching devices such as SiC MOSFETs are used, though, these devices generate electromagnetic noise at switching. Therefore, it is desirable to apply soft-switching technique to the converters in IPT systems to reduce the noise. However, in order to achieve soft-switching operation, it is necessary to utilize the reactive current from the resonant network, however this causes additional conduction loss. Therefore, in order to minimize conduction loss, this paper reconsiders the efficiency characteristics under soft-switching IPT systems. In addition, a guideline for improving system efficiency is shown, and its effectiveness is confirmed by experiment. In this experiment, the efficiency of the overall system is improved by 0.8 % at the maximum transmission power in comparison with conventional methods.
