摘要
Automatic Vehicle License Plate Recognition has been gained popularity in recent years as it leads to antisocial activities such as car theft, car over speeding, breaking the traffic rules and many other activities. In this paper, Extended Hough Transform algorithm have been proposed while applying for extracting License Plates. Simulation results have been shown and it has been demonstrated that this algorithm performs much better when it is being compared to Standard Hough Transform.
