摘要
An EGR system, which is a technology to reduce exhaust gas, can effectively reduce soot and NOx when the exhaust gas temperature is lowered, and it is necessary to improve the cooling performance of the EGR cooler. A numerical analysis was conducted to improve the cooling performance. The numerical analysis program was ANSYS CFX. The improved EGR cooler was designed based on the numerical analysis results of the original EGR cooler. The temperature data for the modified EGR cooler and original EGR cooler were compared. Consequently, it was confirmed that the cooling performance of the EGR cooler was improved.
