摘要
Using low-ash OS coal as a model, a method is developed for creating a hydrophobic coal surface by means of microbubbles in a gas-liquid suspension. Air microbubbles are generated by decompression. The influence of the pressure in the gas saturation of water on the size and stability of the microbubbles is established. It is shown that, in the presence of microbubbles, a hydrophobic air layer is formed at the coal surface. That provides the basis for the attachment of flotational bubbles.
