The role of infection in preterm labour and birth

摘要：
Preterm birth is the major cause of neonatal mortality and morbidity. Infection is a major cause of preterm tabour. Abnormal genital tract flora in early pregnancy is predictive of preterm tabour. Antibiotics may be of help in preventing preterm birth.
