摘要
Portugal signed in 2006 the WLCG MoU to host a Tier-2 service for CMS and ATLAS. Currently, at the brink of massive data taking, the PT Tier-2 is fully integrated in all data distribution and computing flows. The experiments' readiness tests and the participation in demanding data challenges showed that it is fit and prepared for the upcoming challenges. This paper emphasises the obstacles overcomed, and the services and activities implemented to achieve such degree of performance.
