Far IR properties of AGNS.: The AGN-starburst connection

摘要：
With the main goal of investigating the AGN and/or Starburst nature of LINERs, we have studied their FIR properties. Based on the classical indicators of Star Formation activity S-25(100)/S (and the S)(/S)(60)(100) ratios, we have confirmed their heterogeous nature and they can be separated in three groups: normal spiral galaxies with low level nuclear star formation, galaxies with enhanced star formation to be bonafide candidates to Starburst systems, and ongoing mergers with very peculiar SFR up to a few hundreds.
