摘要
There are several different types of information inherent in audio conversations: speech features, participants, and content. If an organization were able to collect all the relevant conversations of its employees, high-potential collaborations and expertise can be identified [1]. VoIP has been off late an effective voice application on Internet/LAN for communication. VoIP can also be a potential source of collaboration for an organization provided privacy concerns are properly managed. The progress in speech/speaker recognition technologies can help in the practical implementation of a VoIP collaborator for effective knowledge management. In this paper, we propose an object-oriented architecture for Information gathering tool for a SIP/RTP based VoIP collaborator that has open architecture for integration of knowledge management tools. The implementation of the proposed architecture is presented with test implementation on Linux operating system. The privacy management for addressing privacy concerns is also incorporated.
