摘要
Within the framework of the European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research (EMPIR), the project "Enhancing process efficiency through improved temperature measurement - 2" (EMPRESS-2) started in May 2018 with the participation of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB). The overall objective of the project is to increase the efficiency of manufacturing processes by improving temperature measurement and control options. The PTB's work is incorporated into two work packages and deals with the metrological characterisation of highly stable thermocouples in work package 2 (WP2) and with novel photonic temperature sensors in WP4. In the following, the preparation of the highly sta- ble Pt-40 %Rh/Pt-6 %Rh thermocouples is described, as well as the measurement procedures and first measurement results for the establishment of a reference function for Pt-40 %Rh/Pt-6 %Rh thermocouples.
