摘要
We proposed a prototype facility for the generation of radioisotopes with accelerator neutrons by deuterons. The neutrons are produced by C-nat(d,n) with 40 MeV 2 mA deuteron beams, and about 8.1 TBq/week of Mo-99 is produced by irradiating an enriched Mo-100 sample with the neutrons. High-quality Tc-99m can be separated from an irradiated (MoO3)-Mo-100 sample by thermo-chromatographic separation. In this contribution we present the system to produce medical radioisotopes, such as Mo-99, Y-90, and Cu-67, and experimental studies on Mo-99 and Cu-67 produced by using accelerator neutrons.
