Ultra-relativistic heavy ion physics at RHIC and the LHC

摘要
New experiments are underway and others are planned to be able to explore a new regime of heavy ion physics using colliders. The new experiments at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) and their physics goals will be presented. Plans for heavy ions in the future Large Hadron Collider (LHC) will be discussed.
