摘要
The electrodynamic implications of the phenomenological description of the induced polarization based on the introduction of the dispersion of electrical conductivity are considered. The induced polarization field is quasi-static, i.e., in the first approximation it can be represented as the product of two functions, one being purely space-dependent and the other, purely time-dependent. With this assumption, the approximate method is proposed for the solution of the forward problem of induced polarization; the expression is obtained for the dependence of a function that describes the decrease in the induced polarization field with time on the dispersion of electrical conductivity. The limitation for the solution of the inverse problem of induced polarization is formulated.
