Contact bounce phenomena in an electrical switching system

摘要
An electrical contact bounce usually occurs in an electrical switching system. It is accompanied by impact vibration between traveling and fixed contacts of the system. In this research, we examine such a mechanical bounce. First a feature of the contact bounce phenomena was confirmed from experimental results. This feature is clarified by theoretical analysis of dynamics including electromagnetic force. Moreover we discuss this mechanical bounce from the viewpoint of nonlinear dynamics.
