Late-news paper: High-efficiency solution-processed phosphorescent green organic light-emitting diode using a high-quantum-yield iridium complex

摘要
Markedly high-efficiency phosphorescent green organic light-emitting diode can be easily fabricated via solution process by the use of a novel iridium complex, bis[5-methyl-7-trifluoromethyl-5H- benzo (c) (1.5) naphthyridin- 6- one] iridium (picolinate) (CF3BNO). The resultant power (current) efficiency, at 100 cd/m(2), was 70 lm/W (89 cd/A), while 21 lm/W (35 cd/A) by using typical vapor deposition. Besides proper device architecture design, the high efficiency may be attributed to the high quantum yield of the CF3BNO iridium complex.
