摘要
In the papermaking process, stability of the wet end can be achieved through efficient wet-end chemistry and proper mass balance. White-water consistency control stabilizes the wet end by reducing process variations. Controlling retention-aid dosage to stabilize white-water consistency results in increased paper machine efficiency, stabilization of the wet end, improved sheet formation and increased paper-machine performance. White-water consistency control is being implemented in many locations around the world and has proven to be efficient and beneficial.
